Planting to do

Flowers
Time now to sow Wallflowers and Sweet William and probably necessary to plant out the Sweet Peas in rows or up an obelisk.

Any flower seed sown in March will need pricking out and potting on individually for strong healthy plants.

Vegetables and Fruit
Pot on Tomatoes into 11cm pots and still keep in the shelter of the greenhouse or tunnel.

Don’t forget to sow your first early Peas and protect from mice in particular.

Other jobs

Flowers
Spring is in full swing and Primroses and Aconites should be providing a picture.

Tie in all new growth on Roses, Clematis and Honeysuckle.

General upkeep

Cut the lawn particularly if you scarified in the Autumn.
