How to grow Malope Trifida from Seed
Sow indoors between Feb-Apr into moist well drained compost about 1mm deep at a temperature of 68-86F (20-30C). Germination should take between 7-14 days. Transplant the seedlings when large enough to handle into 8cm pots and harden off outside once any danger of frost has passed and plant out at 12" spacing. Plants prefer full sun and well drained soil. as they grow larger plants may benefit from beingstaking may be required. As the plants grow larger they will benefit from being staked. A 'cut and come' again variety as picking the flowers and deadheading will prolong flowering.
